FLESH: A Southeast Asian Urban Anthology – Printed!

One of the things I’ve been working on for over half a year is editing FLESH: A SOUTHEAST ASIAN URBAN ANTHOLOGY with Cassandra Khaw. The book is part of an ambitious project by Fixi Novo, a three-book anthology, HEAT FLESH TRASH, that will be launched at the 2016 London Book Fair.

There were almost 180 entries for FLESH, so Cassandra and I had quite a time coming up with our own selections, and then hashing it out with each other. There’s only so many spots to fill, after all. Then comes the editing and the proofreading, and again and again. Well, so much for that.

Now, feast your eyes on this!

Be part of a Southeast Asian steampunk story!

My story “Luckless Tin Elephant” is in the 2016 Young Explorer’s Adventure Guide! With this anthology, we hope to get kids to read, to keep on dreaming, and to have fun. There is a Kickstarter campaign to get the book published, where I’m personally represented by the Angeline Woon Bundle! For $100, you or someone you love, will be inserted into my story, a Southeast Asian steampunk adventure set in 1870s Kuala Lumpur. Hurry, because there’s only one slot available. Check out the site here for more details. Are you excited? I know I am!
