There were almost 180 entries for FLESH, so Cassandra and I had quite a time coming up with our own selections, and then hashing it out with each other. There’s only so many spots to fill, after all. Then comes the editing and the proofreading, and again and again. Well, so much for that.
My story “Luckless Tin Elephant” is in the 2016 Young Explorer’s Adventure Guide! With this anthology, we hope to get kids to read, to keep on dreaming, and to have fun. There is a Kickstarter campaign to get the book published, where I’m personally represented by the Angeline Woon Bundle! For $100, you or someone you love, will be inserted into my story, a Southeast Asian steampunk adventure set in 1870s Kuala Lumpur. Hurry, because there’s only one slot available. Check out the site here for more details. Are you excited? I know I am!
CYBERPUNK: MALAYSIA will be launched on June 13, 2015 at the Cooler Lumpur Festival! I won’t be there, sadly, as I’m halfway around the world, but do go and try to pick up some signed copies. For information go to the event page on Facebook.
My story, In Love with a Monster is broadcast on radio!
Forget the sexy, the slutty, and the sweet, this Halloween it’s all about squeals and screams. The Greatest Hits and Fixi Novo are bringing the scary back with Radio Rasuk – a series of seven original Halloween stories by talented Malaysian writers.
